The Grammar School

The Grammar School was founded in 1963 and aims to provide both general and specialized education enabling students to obtain the School's Leaving Certificate (Apolytirion), IGCSE and GCE Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced Level examinations. The school also serves as a GCE examination centre. In addition to its academic focus, the school is dedicated to promoting a variety of extra-curricular activities which include charity and community work, sports and other cultural pursuits. The Grammar School Nicosia was the first Microsoft Showcase School in Cyprus in 2014 and remains a pioneer in the use of technology and Robotics through its Innovation Centre. The school was awarded the "Green Flag" by CYMEPA in May 2017 and maintains it while encouraging environmental awareness through activities such as tree planting, recycling, and battery recycling.
