Company Overview
Demetriades Group operates from Limassol, Cyprus, and traces its origins to 1995 when Vasos Demetriades established Demetriades Handling as an importer and distributor of pre-owned forklifts. Beginning in 1996, the company became the exclusive representative for LINDE forklifts and expanded its offerings to include consultation services, warehousing logistics, and material handling equipment. The business further diversified to supply sweepers, access platforms, cleaning equipment, and related accessories to address broader market demands.
In 2000, Demetriades Handling UK Ltd was created to extend operations across Cyprus and internationally, offering various types and makes of used forklifts and material handling equipment, with direct access to manufacturers enabling exports to Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Asia, and other regions. Following expansion in 2005, Demetriades Group reorganized into multiple divisions: Demetriades Handling, Demetriades Hydraulics, Demetriades Rentals, Demetriades Service & Parts, and Demastel, a provider of cleaning equipment and car wash systems.
In 2011, the Group began manufacturing Combijet, a line of industrial cleaning and high-pressure water blasting equipment. The organization maintains operations across Cyprus and the UK with over 130 employees and delivers material handling, hydraulics, and cleaning equipment solutions alongside associated support services and technical expertise.
