EVPALIA

EVPALIA was established on 3 February 1980 by Pantelis and Kalia Christoforou, initially operating as a trading company focused on the distribution and sale of marble sourced from Greece and Italy. In 1983, the company constructed its first manufacturing facility, equipped with machinery capable of processing granite, marble, and natural stone into finished materials for commercial use.

On 2 May 1996, EVPALIA Quarries Co Ltd was created to undertake mining operations at privately owned quarries in Cyprus. Stone extracted from these quarries is exported internationally to markets including Israel, Spain, Italy, Greece, the United States, and Qatar, primarily for facade applications. In June 2017, the EVPALIA Group expanded its product portfolio to include ceramics and sanitary ware, alongside its existing stone offerings, and opened a dedicated showroom in the Ayios Athanasios Industrial Area to display the broadened range of products.
