Hertz Autohellas is the primary franchisee of Hertz International within Greece and operates through subsidiary companies across Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Ukraine. The company maintains a presence in major cities and airport locations, with more than 143 service points throughout these countries. Beginning in 2014, Hertz Autohellas acquired the exclusive rights to operate the Thrifty, Dollar, and Firefly brands in Greece, with rights to these brands extending to certain international markets from 2015 onward.

Beyond vehicle rental services, Hertz Autohellas ranks among the larger providers of operating leasing solutions in its region and was the first to introduce this service type in Greece in 1989.
