Nicosia Field Club

The Field Club is Cyprus' most prestigious tennis club, founded in 1913, more than a century ago, with many of Cyprus' top players having come up from this club. Situated in the medieval moat that surrounds the old town of Nicosia, right up against the age old sandstone Venetian walls, the club is an oasis of peace in the heart of the capital, where anyone can come and unwind after a busy day, either to play a game of tennis or just to meet up with friends.

Today the Field Club, Cyprus' oldest and biggest club, has the best facilities on the island. In all 11 courts (8 clay, 2 artificial grass and one training court) are available to the 450 adult and junior members. The club's centre court has viewing stands with a capacity of 600 people and the club house itself is surrounded by a verdant garden conducive to healthy exercise, relaxation and socialising. A canteen also provides food and refreshments.

Here you can play competitive singles and doubles matches, take part in fun social tournaments, benefit from individual or group coaching, as well as enjoy numerous social events. Over time the Field Club hosted a number of international competitions such as the Davis Cup, the Women΄s Circuit, national tournaments, international veterans, the Junior ITF Aphrodite Cup, amongst others.
